I just wanted to say that I recently discovered your blog through MDA and I am loving it! I am curious to know if you ever get any comments from your pre-schooler's teachers about how awesome her lunches are.
Welcome to Primal Kitchen. :) Glad you found the blog - hope that you continue to drop by. :)As for your question, I'm beginning to think that I'm "the mom that packs the healthy lunches" since my daughter's lunch is almost always the first thing the teachers bring up when I pick her up or drop her off. The first day of preschool, one of the two teachers said at pick up time, "That's the healthiest lunch I've ever seen!"I'm fairly sure that she wasn't being literal, but if it's healthy enough looking for them to remark on it regularly, I suppose I should carry on. :)My own mother is a teacher of elementary school age kids and she testifies to the effect that processed foods has on her own students in their ability to behave/learn/concentrate in the classroom.
I cherish your comments, each and every one! Please note that comments that are off-topic or of a gratuitously promotional nature will not be published. Also, for reasons of privacy, comments with my name or family members' names will not be published.
