Lunchbox #119

Today, my preschooler's lunch featured (clockwise):

  • Leftover strips of steak with mustard for dipping
  • Salad with fresh local tomato, organic green peppers, mozzarella, dressed with olive oil and kosher salt
  • Bubbies pickle (no sugar or corn syrups in these pickles! wahoo)
  • Chocolate yoghurt = whole milk organic yoghurt, cocoa powder, and a touch of maple syrup

  1. Love the chocolate yogurt idea! How much yogurt, coco, maple syrup? Also, what brand of coco do you use? Thanks!

  2. Hi, Trixie!

Navitas Naturals has an organic cacao powder that I've had great luck with in the past - when I order Navitas products, I do it with Subscribe and Save on Amazon to get maximum savings (I cancel my subscription afterward easily on my account). Looks like now they now bundle in two 1-lb. bags.

  3. Okay, great idea! But, how much yogurt, coco, and maple syrup do you use to make this for your kids?
