Today, my preschooler's lunch featured (clockwise):
- Two ham'n'egg cups (she tends to neglect the yolks...don't know where she gets that from because I love yolks!)
- An apple (sliced in two to fit the box)
- Some whole milk yoghurt with frozen raspberries and honey stirred in
- A few chocolate covered almonds
~
My son avoids the yolks, too! Drives me nuts. My daughter only eats the yolks, so we either make them switch halfway through or we scramble the eggs to make sure they each get a mix of both.
ReplyDeleteYou could try scrambling the egg before baking the egg cups. As someone who never liked te yolks growing up, it's more of a texture thing than flavor. Also, pre scrambling the egg gives you the opportunity to add veggies ;)
